While the COVID -19 pandemic has resulted in the slowdown of some aspects of the e-learning work, it has generated other areas of development.We are experiencing a reduction in subject experts to grade assignments and are currently behind on responding all assignments. ICPCN have worked with colleagues around the world and with the IAHPC, WHPCA and PALCHASE on Briefing Notes on all aspects of Palliative Care and COVID-19.
Four Briefing Notes have been developed on children which include:
- Caring for children with underlying serious health conditions during the COVID-19 Pandemic
- Symptom control at the end of life in children with COVID-19 infection
- Psychological and spiritual impact of COVID-19 on children with palliative care needs
- The social impact of COVID-19 on children with palliative care needs and their families
